We are consuming the planet!

Society´s habits represent an enormous risk for our future. We would need the resources of many planets like the one we inhabit in order to maintain the rhythm of  life and the consumption needs of the industrialized countries. In the last years we have witnessed increasing deterioration of our ecosystem and global temperature , droughts, fires, floods, glacier melting,  hurricanes of greater intensity, sand storms, extinction of fauna and flora and many other events that attempt against our habitat.

That´s why EACH ONE OF US, individually, has to adopt sustainable measures and actions to take care of the environment and the natural resources that we have. This must be done inmediately, so we can be certain that the Earth will continue to function as an adequate home  instead of being a place full of problems inherited to  future generations because of our irresponsibility and passivity.

Segunda Llamada, a graphic project supporting sustainable  development, is made up by people who wish to make our planet a better place to live in.   It was conceived from the need to raise awareness about our current environmental situation. *(Segunda llamada is a spanish expression translation for “Second call”, refering to our last chance to act)
